A bit different...but just a bit!

I decide to write some posts in english, so everybody can read and understand what I try to explain or want to say. This post is dedicated to the Thai people. I want to introduce them into the bavarian culture, the way I live in my home country and the appearance of the people living next to me. All I will write is NO distortion of the reality including the look of ALL bavarians. Bavaria is strictly divided from the rest of Germany by the "Weißwurstäquator". It's a kind of inofficial border to the other germans who do not know how to eat their food with knife, folk and spoon. This marginal group isn't even able to talk the harmonic, tradtional, fundamental, religious and smooth dialect called "Boarisch". Generally all Bavarians wear traditional cloths "Tracht". The wonderful women "Weiba" are used to wear a kind of dress which is better known as a "Dirndl". The bavarian men "Mannsbuida" are all good-looking and strong men and wear "Lederhosn" like you can see on the following picture:

Some of you even got the possibility to see me wearing my "Lederhosn" at Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Bangkok or Ko Samet. The best tool which helps a "Weib" getting a "Mannsbuid" is shown on the next picture:The magic weapon is called "Feigling" and it tastes like sweet liqueur which the "Mannsbuida" like to drink between their beerstops. But I heard fairy tales which tell that some "Mannsbuida" prefer another part of the "Weiba". You also can see on the last picture.
The Bavarians are very special people. They always privilege celebrating together with the other Bavarians in the beer-tent "Bierzelt".

Just talking "schmatzn", kidding "fankaln" or drinking beer "saufa"!
The "Mannsbuida" are always very thirsty, so they drink their beer out of big mugs:

This was the first part of my story about Bavaria. The next will follow perhaps tomorrow. I hope you understand why I enjoy to be a "Mannsbuid" of Bavaria.

Kind regards,

Clemens

Sawasdee krap khun Clemente - also known as "Fussballgott".
There also exists a very important day in a bavarian man's life: "Father's Day". No gals - just drinking beer!!! Btw. we celebrated that very special day yesterday with a 15kg grilled pig. Clemens, you have missed a funny party!!! ;-) But I suppose you already got used to the thai style of life, don't you?! Never forget this different way of living.

Cheers, flo

Clemente old good looking "mannsbuid" we are so proud of you and your intercultural working down there in the south-east asian region. Well, we could read lot of very amazing storys of you from thailand...and it's so wonderful that you...amazing, funny and very strong "mannsbuid" tell the people there how fankalable, trinky and wahnsinnig "do-legst-di-nieda"-mäßig good old bavaria is! weiter so!

@flo: "oa maß geht ollawei" oda "vorm hoamgeh, hamma ollawei no mass gsuffa"
translation for the non-bavarian-people out there:
"one big hug full of beer will never be empty" or "before we will go home, we are used to drink one more"
@jackl: "do-legst-di-nieda"
translation: "the ever ever ever ever ever ever ever best region of germany: bavaria"
